Four years ago, we dreamed up a place where Julie’s beautiful home design and Lauren’s delicious desserts came together in one amazing space. It took two long years of planning, searching, permits, construction, setbacks and perseverance to arrive at opening day. Those dreams were made a reality in 2023 when we finally opened Finery & Cake’s doors.
We have spent the past two years working harder than we knew we could and trying all that we could to grow our business. We have welcomed so many wonderful people into our shop. We have grown a team that we love dearly and are so incredibly proud of. We have learned SO MUCH. All the emotions have been felt - the good - the bad - the ugly - the beautiful. So. Much. Beautiful.
However, through our mix of struggles and successes, the challenges have finally outweighed the wins for F&C, and we are sadly closing our doors. Our last day will be Saturday February 1st, 2025.
While the time has come to close this chapter, we are incredibly grateful for the memories we've made. Thank you for sharing your celebrations with us, for indulging in our creations, and for simply being a part of the Finery & Cake community. You are the reason we can still smile through the tears.
But fear not, we're not going away entirely: Julie is proud to launch her individual interior design business with Woo Me Interiors. Please give her a follow in the near future, and stay tuned for very exciting updates as she embarks on this new venture. Lauren is taking time to rest, recoup, and recharge with her family.
Our Farewell Sale is running now until we sell everything in retail! Lighting, furniture, displays, shelving, etc. Everything must go so please come shop, get one last treat, and say goodbye!
We will be completing all custom bakery orders already booked. We will be selling as many of our amazing treats as we can as we work through our remaining ingredients.
It is truly a tough mix of emotions that we are carrying as we take this next step.
Above all we'll cherish the friendships we've made and the joy we've brought to others.
