While we’re getting the store opened and running, I am offering design consultation appointments either in-store or virtually (via FaceTime or Zoom). My fee is $100 per hour. Here’s how it works:
Design Questionnaire: Please complete and submit the on-line Design Questionnaire so I can learn the basics of your project.
Get-Acquainted Call: I’ll then contact you to get acquainted, and we’ll walk through your questionnaire. If we both feel we’re a good fit, we’ll arrange a time to discuss details of your design goals.
Initial Consult: During this one-hour meeting, we’ll talk about goals, ideas, preferences, priorities, timeline and other exciting things. We’ll define what I’ll be doing to help you, determine what you can do to help, and establish a budget. At this time, I’d love to see inspiration pictures or photos you might have accumulated. Whether it is magazine pages or pictures on your phone or your Pinterest page – it’s all valuable information to help us create your new space. For those less involved design goals, this may be the only meeting necessary.
Design Concept: For more in-depth services that require more than the Initial Consult, I’ll develop a Design Concept based on the details we discussed. I typically keep this process within a two-week timeframe to keep our momentum and excitement flowing. I’ll schedule a convenient time to present and review the Design Concept with you.
Design Review: This time is used to present the concept, get your feedback and start making selections for your newly designed space. I’ll have pictures, space plans, sample selections, and other options for you to consider. When all is approved, we’ll work to implement the design, and you’ll be on your way to a fresh, new space! My time spent on your project will depend on the scope of services needed. If it’s a paint color consultation, for example, the Initial Consult may be all that is necessary. If the project needs more in-depth services, such as furniture purchasing, space planning, finishes selection, lighting selection, etc., this will require more time and a more detailed process. We’ll get all that settled during the Initial Consult and then move forward with your new design!
